Gravitational Pleasure
~ in honour of aliveness ~

Sprawled flat on my back with one leg resting up the wall, a sweetly manic grin spreads across my face while a slow, cackling laugh bubbles from my throat.
I can’t move.
So, so much erotic aliveness is surging through me.
Pulsing, warming, electrifying, tantalizing.
This is life force energy.
Otherwise known as Eros.
The charge that animates and elevates us, if we do the work to unleash it.
Which brings pure, precious, pleasure.
I still can’t move.
The delight is palpable. Literally. There’s a felt gravity to this energy, like a weighted blanket. A heaaavy one. I have no choice other than to steep in the current.
I laugh again.
What a funny way of experiencing a lesson I’ve been trying to learn lately:
That not doing is as meaningful and necessary as doing.
I have this pattern of always being in motion. Always practicing this, tending that. I output a lot most days, steering clear of true stillness, emptiness, nothingness.
There’s no sense of completion in stillness.
No momentum to ride.
No closed loops to savour.
The march of progress is one of my favourite drugs.
Turns out nothingness can be just as heady when submitted to.
With love from the cabin,
