Tearing the Fabric of Reality

~ energy that flows vs. energy that rots ~

I gaze at my hands, a third their usual size.

Their edges have dissolved. Their matter spills free.

I gasp with glee, watching the fabric of reality unwind.

———

The fabric of reality is energy.

Which is malleable and channel-able, given deep awareness.

Energy, like water, craves flow, movement, freedom.

But allowing the water to flow requires trust and surrender, which isn’t always easy.

If the intensity is more than your nervous system can handle, contraction occurs. If the energy is challenging, like grief or anger, suppression is a common response.

Like water, when energy becomes still, stuck, stagnant… it festers and rots, blooms with algae and slime, pesky mosquitos lay eggs, rancid smells emerge. While energy may still move here and there in fits and starts, it contorts and claws to do so.

———

Drifting in a sea of delight and awe, I watch strands of energy flow around and through me.

There are no snags. No eddies. No resistance…

Just steady streams moving with ease and grace.

———

In clinging to expectations, grasping at outcomes, resisting what’s true, energy stagnates, quietly contorting your values, beliefs, and actions around the blocks.

Which might not be easily perceptible, but doesn’t mean they’re not there.

A deeply held hate causes contraction, creating a pinch point, like a kinked hose.

Suppressing or avoiding your desires forces that energy to leak out in other ways.

Answers you seek remain elusive, feeling held just out of reach.

Progress towards who you want to become is slow.

People respond to you in ways you don’t want.

You know what they say…

Your vibe attracts your tribe.

(Pardon the Pintrest-y cliche.)

If your energy snags, slows, and stiffens…

You’ll attract contraction, resistance, frustration.

If you tend your inner world and remove the blocks…

You’ll magnetize expansion, flow, ease.

———

I drink from a fountain of gratitude.

Energetic rewiring is deep, difficult work.

Tangible results arrive slowly.

Not often in the form you expect.

The world needs more time than you’ll like to catch up and realign. Think of a galleon sailing the high seas: you can spin the wheel, but the ship doesn’t change direction immediately.

Sailing with the current is easier than trying to control the sea.

With love from the forest,
