The Portal of Acceptance vs. The Portal of Expansion

~ only one leads to who you truly are ~

Time after time after time, I find the same message waiting behind the veil.

Your capacity for connection is grounded in love.

Your intuition is online, and razor-sharp.

Your alignment is locked into place.

You don’t need anything beyond food and shelter.

(And cats.)

You don’t want anything more than what you already have.

(Except to share your music on a larger scale.)

———

Mushrooms are profound revealers of Truth.

Nothing you see is fabricated.

Nothing you feel is a lie.

But Truth isn’t always light, free, and easy.

Truth can be cold, hard, and heavy.

Truth demands that you rise to the occasion.

Truth insists you actually feel the weather of your inner world.

Truth asks you to respect yourself enough to listen.

You can pretend there’s nothing buried within you, or that what you sense bubbling inside you isn’t important—but to do so is to suppress your truth, yourself.

Which always bears consequences.

Ignoring what's alive within you means severing the connection to who you truly are.

Means the pulses of intuition that would guide you home instead fade into the void.

Means falling out of alignment so slowly you don’t even realize what’s happening.

Most people settle here.

They swallow their own tongue. Cuff their own hands. Blind their own eyes.

But the comfort found in avoiding truths that might mean rocking the boat that is your life is an uneasy one. The peace found in avoiding your own growth, becoming, and evolution is a flawed one. Every mask you wear is the face of a false god.

Is that what you want?

Or do you want the best for yourself? To become the best version of yourself?

Growth isn’t exercising, eating well, journaling, meditating, ice baths, or dancing.

Sure, such things can be part of the puzzle. They can be means of integrating the evolution your body and spirit are crying out for. But real growth comes from accepting and following what quickens your pulse and makes you feel alive.

No matter what.

The Portal of Acceptance isn’t better or worse than The Portal of Expansion.

Whichever portal you choose, you will still arrive at life’s end.

But each one leads you through a very different life.

And only one is true to who you really are.

With love from the forest,

~ Alexander
